During this workshop we will work extensively with our Yoga Wall System. It allows to attach ropes in many different ways. Ropes are another prop that Mr. Iyengar developed to assist us in achieving poses that might not quite be within our reach yet. Ropes also allow us to feel how certain movements or extension should feel before we can feel the same effect without ropes. Hence, they are a great tool.
Yoga straps and other props will be used to experience the traction action. All categories of poses will be explored in this manner; standing, twisting, back bending, inversions, forward.
With this aid you will experience how to open the joints, lengthen the spine and strengthen the core of your body. Ropes are very effective in improving our yoga practice!
The yoga workshop provides a chance to practice yoga on a deeper level in a holistic way, connecting the physical and the organic body through yoga asanas. Each time with a different theme.
